Tournament MODE: Round Robin tournaments with 10 participants, with possibility of achieving GM or IM norm.

Tournament VENUE: Peristeri Chess Club, Peristeri, Dimosthenous 12, Peristeri, Attica (850m distance from Metro Station)

The entry fee is calculated according to the current rating published on the date of your confirmation. Your confirmation is considered valid only after the deposit of the correspondent entry fee appears at the following bank account:

ACCOMMODATION: The entry fee does not include accommodation.

Please check an Internet booking site to find a room in hotels that suit your needs or contact the organizers to help you find a nice hotel or Airbnb within range. Since 13-28 of April is a quite high touristic period for Athens, because of Orthodox Easter, travelers are advised to book fast either by themselves or through organization commission.

For invited Grandmasters the accommodation and appearance fee are offered upon an agreement.

TRANSFER: the organizers will provide free transportation at the playing hall or at Airbnb’s located at Peristeri for all foreign players.

TIME CONTROL: 90 min for 40 moves + 30min till the end of the game & 30sec per move from move one. Recording of moves is obligatory for the entire duration of the game. Default time is 30 minutes; players arriving later will be forfeited.

APPEALS may be submitted no later than 10 minutes after the end of the round. A three-member Appeals Committee will be responsible for examining the appeal. Members of the AC related to the players involved will be exempted. The composition of the AC will be determined before the start of the tournament by the Chief Arbiter.

The appeal fee is set at 100€ and must be delivered to either the Tournament Director or the Chief Arbiter. Should the appeal be upheld, the fee shall be returned to the appellant; otherwise it is withheld by the organizers.

ANTI‐CHEATING: During the game it is forbidden the appearance and use of cell phones and any other electronic devices inside the playing venue and the playing hall.
