XLVII Chess Youth Tournament to the 76th anniversary of SNP,

ONDREJ RINTEL MEMORIAL 2020 TOURNAMENT

Date: 24th August 2020 (Monday) – 28th August 2020 (Friday)

Place: ZŠ A. Karpov Černyševského 8, Playing hall of ŠK Slovan Bratislava –Petržalka

Participants: Boys and girls born 2004 and younger

System: Swiss system, 9 rounds, results will be sent to FIDE rating

Rate of play: 2 x 90 min for the game + 30 s/move

Waiting limit: 30 min

Starting fee: 15,- €

Applications: till 10th August 2020

Rankings: 1. number of points, 2. Cut Buchholz, 3. The better result from mutual game, 4. Number of wins, 5. Additional game in case of prize sharing

Prizes: 1. 160,- € + cup, 2. 100,- €, 3. 70,- €, 4. 30,- €;

Girls (if at least 5 female players will play) 1. 20,- €, 2. 15,- €, 3. 10,- €

Gift for the youngest participant. Coincidence of prizes is excluded.

Others: Refreshments for participants will be provided during the tournament.

DAILY CAMP DURING THE TOURNAMNENT

Camp time: Daily from 7:30 (arrival of children) till 18:00 (decampment of children)

Participation:For the participants of the Chess tournament only

Program: Ball games, table tennis, social and logical games during the day provided by animators who will attend the children between the tournament rounds

Meal: Lunch booked between 12:00 - 14:00 at a nearby restaurant

Price: 99,- € (tournament entry fee, lunch, snacks, animators)

Please pay the fee within 5 days of sending the application. Otherwise, the application will be cancelled after 7 days.

Obligations of parents:

Children are advised to bring a towel, table tennis racket, headcover, sunscreen, repellent, spare sneakers. Children must have a photocopy of the insurance card and hand over the Parental Declaration upon boarding the camp.

Bring your child to ZŠ Černyševského 8., Bratislava - Petržalka between 7:30 - 8:00. Pick up at 16:30 - 18:00.

Camp conditions:

A child should not have a mobile phone with him (both the tournament director and the animators are constantly available on their numbers), expensive jewelry, valuables and more money (the club is not liable for loss of money). The child must not have a firearm or any toy that compromises the health and safety of camp participants. The child must not drink alcohol, smoke and use drugs. It is also prohibited to sell them to other camp participants. Behavior and speech must be in accordance with the general conditions of decent behavior in school order for primary schools.

In the event a breach of the above conditions, the child will be excluded from the day camp without prior compensation after prior notice to the legal representative.

Other provisions:

Cancellation of the tournament / camp is possible in writing, the date of dispatch of the cancellation, 12.8. will be returned 50%, from 13.8. 50% only from camp.
