GROUP A: Chess players with Elo up to 1,800 regardless of the age. The A Group will be rated for International Elo.
GROUP B: Born from 2013 and up (all the chess players have the right to take part in A group).RECORDING OF MOVES: It is mandatory for everyone. Ιf the very young chess players do not write, will be subtracted 10 minutes from their total thinking time.
OFFER DRAWS ARE PROHIBITED.
TIME CONTROLS: 35΄+30΄΄.
TIE BREAKS: 1. Direct Encounter (the results of the players in the same point group) 2. Buchholz -1 3. Bucholz 0 4. Sonneborn-Berger 5. Greater number of victories.
PLAYING SCHEDULE: Swiss System of 7 rounds.
EXCEPTIONS: Up to two (2) exceptions for each player provided to inform earlier the Arbiter.
FEES: A GROUP 20€, B Group 15€, 2 SIBLINGS A GROUP 30€, B GROUP 25€. 3 SIBLINGS IN EVERY GROUP 30€.
DEADLINE FOR APPLICATIONS: 17/02/2022. Pairings for the 1st round on Friday 18/02/2022 at 22:00 p.m. (Greek hour).
CONFIRMATION OF PARTICIPATION: At least 30΄ before the start of the 1st round.

PRIZES-AWARDS
TOTAL 400€: FINAL RANKING 1st 150€, 2nd 100€, 3rd 50€ - WOMEN: 1st 60€, 2nd 40€
Prizes are not shared.
A GROUP: Cups for the first 3 of the final ranking and the 1st girl.
If a girl takes the 1st place in the final ranking then the 1st girl's cup will take the next player’s in the final ranking.
Medals to the first 3 and the first winner k 10, 12, 14, 16.
B GROUP: Medals per class. All the Preschoolers will be awarded.
ACCOMMODATION: Hotel FILIPPEION **** Thessaloniki
PRICES PER PERSON WITH FULL BOARD: Double room: 36 euros. Triple room: 35 Single: 55 euros. Children up to 12 years old in their parents' room pay 50% of the price.
Accommodation at the hotel is NOT mandatory.
