III INTERNATIONAL CHESS FESTIVAL „GEORGI RAKOVSKI” (BULGARIA, KOTEL, 2 - 6/7/2025)

Playing Venue: The town of Kotel, Sports facility of MS „Georgi Stoykov Rakovski“, „Atanas Belopahov - uchitel“ street №1

Organizers: Municipality of Kotel

Competition system and Rights of Participation: The tournament will be held in 9 rounds according to the Swiss System. All Bulgarians and all outlanders with a FIDE STANDARD Rating not bigger than 2399 (<2400) who are approved by the organizers will have the right to participate in the tournament.

Time-control: 60 minutes for game + 30 seconds increment from move 1

Tournament fee:

70 BGN for everyone else who wishes to participate

In between the chess festival Blitz tournament will be organized.

On 3 July Blitz tournament with time-control 3 minutes for game + 2 seconds increment from move 1. The right to participate have all chess players who have paid the entry fee of 20 BGN!

Prizes: I – 250 BGN, II – 200 BGN, III – 150 BGN, IV – 120 BGN, V – 100 BGN, VI – 80BGN, VII – 50 BGN, VIII – 50 BGN.
