The purpose of the tournament:To provide opportunities for obtaining rating points, participation in competitions, and recreation for chess players and their families.

Format: Open, 7 rounds, Swiss system.

Time control: 90-90 minutes, plus a 30-second bonus per move (Delay up to 60 minutes)

Dead heat: 1. Buchholz Cut -1, 2. Buchholz, 3. Sonneborn-Berger, 4. Progressive

August 21, 2025: Registration: 13:00-14:30. Opening: 14:30.

1st round: August 21, 2025 (Thursday) 15:00

2nd round: August 22, 2025 (Friday) 9:00

3rd round: August 22, 2025 (Friday) 14:30

19:30 Blitz Tournament (playing time: 2 x 5 minutes)

4th round: August 23, 2025 (Saturday) 9:00

5th round: August 23, 2025 (Saturday) 14:30

6th round: August 24, 2025 (Sunday) 8:30

7th round: August 24, 2025 (Sunday) 13:30

Immediately after the tournament, the results will be announced and the winners will be declared!

Registrations will be confirmed. Only players with a valid license for the year 2025 can participate, and foreign players must have a valid FRD.

Best player under 1200 rating: 15,000 HUF

A trophy will be awarded to the champion of Törökszentmiklós.

If at least 6 clubs register teams of 3 people, a team competition will also be organized and awarded.

The places will be determined by the total final placement of the 3 team members. (The lowest score wins. In case of a tie, the position of the best player of the team decides.)

* The team competition is unofficial, not announced, not mandatory.

Team Prizes: 1st place: trophy, medal, certificate + gift, 2nd-3rd place: medal, certificate.

After the award ceremony, two "health packages" and a large competition chess set worth 35,000 HUF will be raffled among the players.

All U10 players will receive a certificate of participation.

During the 4-day competition, participants and their relatives will receive free entry to the Törökszentmiklós City Thermal and Strand Bath. Additionally, free sauna access will be provided at the Tropicana Solarium and Beauty House. We will offer chess players the specialty beers from the renowned Ugar Brewery and products from Ujana Bakery. Accommodation Offers:
