IV Youth Chess Tournament “LASKER 2019” in Ohrid

Chess Club LASKER will organize a rated chess tournament “LASKER 2019”

1. Tournament will take held from 10.10.2019 to 13.10.2019 in Hotel FILIP settlement Dolno Konjsko Ohrid.

2. The patron of the tournament is the Hotel FILIP Ohrid, www.hotelfilip.mk

3. Right to participate have all chess players born in 2001 or younger, with FIDE rating (ELO) no more then 2200.

4. All FIDE rules apply and the tournament will be rated.

5. Will be played 7 rounds Swiss system. Time control is 90 minutes per player with bonus of 30 seconds with every move starting with the first. Writing moves is required.

6. Tournament Schedule as follows:

1. round 10 October (Thursday) 09:30

2. round 10 October (Thursday) 16:30

3. round 11 October (Friday) 09:30

4. round 11 October (Friday) 16:30

5. round 12 October (Saturday) 09:30

6. round 12 October (Saturday ) 16:30

7. round 13 October (Sunday) 09:30

7. Entrants must confirm their participation in the tournament with their presence in the Hotel FILIP settlement Dolno Konjsko Ohrid no later than 20:00 on 09 October 2019. The technical conference of the tournament will be from 19:00 to 20:00. Opening ceremony of the tournament 20:00 on 09 October 2019.

9. Cup for the winner of the tournament and medals for all adult categories up to U08, U10, U12, U14, U16 and U18 (G08, G10, G12, G14, G16 and G18 if there are at least 6 girls per category). Diplomas for participation for all participants

10. Prize fund is 35.000,00 denars (567 euro) and there are 10 regular rewards.

11. Tie breaks will be resolved by:

- Buchholz - 1 (without less

successful opponent)

- Direct encounter

- Buchholz

- Progress

- Shortened progress

12. Closing ceremony and rewards will take place Sunday, 13 October, 14:30.

13. Major arbiter will be IA Ivan Kochovski and assistanr arbiter will be IA Sashko Lakinski, NA Boris Lusheski
