REGULATIONS
DATE AND PLACE: 1st of June 2020 in lichess.org
STARTING TIME: 6 pm UTC + 3 (google it to coordinate with your local time)
WHO CAN PLAY: All kids up to 18 years old who are unrated or have up to 1500 FIDE official CLASSICAL CHESS rating
SYSTEM: ARENA system, TEAM BATTLE with the official rules of lichess. No Berserk allowed.
TIME CONTROL: 6 mins to the end of the game + 6 seconds increment starting from move one.
STANDINGS: Every team can enter with as much particiapnts as it wants. Kids play together as in an open tournament but the system does not let players from same team to play each other.
After the end of the tournament (end of the 120 mins) for standing are counting the first 6 best results from each team. The team with the best score will be first.
- *ARENA* - when a player finishes a game he/she doesn't wait for everybody to finish. The system gives him/her as fast as possible a new oponent with the closest score.
In order TO PARTICIPATE you need to follow the INSTRUCTIONS:
- Make a TEAM in lichess.org
- Invite all kids, who want to participate to JOIN the team
***those two steps take no more than a few minutes
- Write the organizers the EXACT name of the TEAM
AFTER YOUR TEAM HAS BEEN ADDED
- Each player should be preregistered in lichess.org
- Send this link to all players:
- All players should preregister in the tournament by pressing the green button "SIGN IN"
